Musculoskeletal ultrasound is widely used today in the field of musculoskeletal health due to its non-invasive nature, speed, and dynamic evaluation capabilities.
This foundational training program is specifically designed for sports physicians, physiatrists, orthopedists, and team doctors, aiming to provide participants with the core knowledge and practical skills necessary for the effective and safe use of ultrasound in clinical applications.
During the training, participants will cover the principles of ultrasound operation, probe selection, image optimization, and patient positioning in detail.
They will learn to identify the basic sono-anatomical windows of the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle joints, and distinguish normal structures from possible pathological findings.
Additionally, the role of musculoskeletal ultrasound in the diagnostic and therapeutic process, its advantages, and current limitations will be discussed comprehensively.
By the end of the program, participants are expected to gain a clear understanding of the sono-anatomical structures, standard ultrasound windows, and variations of normal anatomy for the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle joints.
Upon completion, all participants will be awarded an official Document of Attendance approved by Acıbadem Sports Academy.
